OUR THERMAL WATER
The 4 springs of thermal water are of volcanic origin. (The most recent eruption of Mount Epomeo was in 1301). The thermal water gushes out at a depth of about 70 to 80 metres underground with a temperature of 98°C. According to the chemical analyses carried out by the University of Naples on February, 28th 2003, the "Romantica" thermal water was classified as hyperthermal chloride-sodium-sulphate water rich in mineral salts. |

Our Spa
In our well-equipped and comfortable Spa individual specific
therapies are given in separate rooms according to the desired
health and beauty treatment. Thanks to our 40-years-old professional
experience we are able to meet all guests' requirements by personalising
at best their treatments and giving steady care and assistance,
in order to turn thermal cures into a moment of deep invigoration
and to leave a pleasant memory, besides being therapeutically

Thermal mud baths
These mud baths are given in airy, light and spacious rooms,
each one provided with bed, shower and bath. Mud is supplied
at the point of use by a thermo-hydraulic plant that maintains
the temperature at a steady level. The mud-bath is taken according
to individual medical prescription and is followed by the rest
time to co-operate with the body's physiological reaction: to
this end our guests spend several minutes on a bed in our coddle
room, wrapped in sheets and blankets. |
Massages
Our Massage Department offers a wide range of therapeutic
massages to heal specific ailments, sometimes combining techniques,
under the supervision of our highly specialized staff.

Inhalations e
Aerosols
To healing numerous ailments of the respiratory tract. These
effective treatments are carried out either with thermal water
or with specific medicines which are all prescribed by our doctor.
As already mentioned, out thermal water reaches high effectiveness
against all the ailments of the high respiratory tract such
as pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheytis and represents a valid
help against the affections of the low respiratory tract. |
Electrotherapy
This therapy may be taken in support of, or in addition to,
other healing therapies in which the electrical impulse acts
on the nervous system. The galvanic current therapies of Jonophoresis
and Phoresor are highly recommended. |
Specific conditions
Taken alone, or in combination with our thermal pools, our
treatments are suitable for the following conditions:
· Illnesses of the respiratory tract and organs;
· Congenital and locomotor ailments, especially spinal
deformities and pain, distortion of inter-vertebral discs,
arthritis of the joints, chronic inflammatory rheumatism,
inflammatory, degenerative and traumatic diseases of the muscles
and connective tissues, chronic polyarthritis, anchylosing
spondylitis, spondylo-arthrosis, osteochondritis and consequences
of fractures;
· Ailments of the peripheral blood circulation.
